Odisha State Representative
Duty station: Puri, Odisha
We
are looking for an energetic, self-motivated and experienced person to
join our team to lead the work in Odisha. The Odisha State
representative will serve as focal point for the design and
implementation of programs related to Odisha. She/he will assist in the
developing Odisha programme with specific development indicators. She/he
will undertake participatory research/studies on impact of disaster,
collect and analyse qualitative and quantitative data at baseline;
contribute to monitor and evaluate results against the indicators, so as
to inform program and project improvements and strategic decisions. The
desired candidate is required to have worked in multi-stakeholder
projects involving government, private sector and communities.
Candidates
should be dedicated and have a strong work ethic to keep up with a
fast-paced work environment. Ability to multitask and undertake
activities with respect to multiple projects simultaneously, to work
effectively under tight time constraints and to meet deadlines with
attention to detail and quality.
Preferred qualification: Degree
in social science, development studies, participatory disaster
management, or related field is essential. A minimum of 5 years’
experience of work experience in Odisha or any other disaster-prone area
would be an added advantage.
Language skills - English and Odiya.
Remuneration: 50,000 per month
