Sir Syed Trust invites
applications for the position of Coordinator.
Location: Sohna (Gurgaon)
JOB SUMMARY:
Project coordinator will be primarily responsible for coordinating,
planning, implementing and completing all project-related activities in project
location within the stipulated time in complete coordinate with the other
project team members. S/he will work closely with the Program Integrator,
Executives, Field Assistants, Accounts to create an enabling environment for
developing a more secure and resilient livelihood for the smallholders. This
position will ensure smooth implementation of all project-related planning,
design, and execution of efficient water management and soil conservation
practices. In addition, the position also requires support on community
mobilization for integrated pest and nutrition management, training on natural
farming and strengthening existing village institutions. S/he will also provide
management and technical guidance to the design and quality implementation of
project activities, development of required systems, processes and procedures
for project implementation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES/TASKS
PERCENTAGE (%)
5.1 Project Management 40%
A. Ensuring that all project activities, such as community group
formation and strengthening, civil work, ponds, agriculture activities, Farmers
school, and FPO formation, are done with active participation of related
community groups/institutions.
B. Developing/Customizing monitoring tools and formats for each activity
that could help collect timely required information according to the Gantt
chart or about the progress in each activity.
C. Ensuring team motivation to
achieve the set targets.
5.2 Visibility and Liaison with other
stakeholders 10%
A. Building effective work relationships with all
government/CSR/non-governmental institutions in the location.
5.3 Reporting and Documentation 25%
A. Ensuring monthly reports from all team staff and preparing monthly
progress report & PPT.
B. Preparing and submitting quarterly narrative reports.
C. Regularly updating MIS and sharing updated monthly MIS.
D. Ensuring team level meetings on a monthly and weekly basis and
documenting all.
5.4 Community Engagement 10%
A. Making regular visits to the target intervention communities,
carrying out required reviews and monitoring, and providing periodic updates to
the line manager.
B. Tracking to ensure team members are following the scheduled meetings
of all institutions promoted by the project in the location.
5.5 Team Management 15%
A. Ensuring adequate project staffing.
B. Identifying the need for capacity building of team members and
coordinating with the HR team for conducting capacity building
workshops/training, etc.
C. Ensuring effective management of admin and related information such
as leave records, attendance, etc.
Qualification required:

MBA Rural
Development/Graduate/PG with Agri/Horti/NRM background

3 – 4 years of experience in similar field
ü
Excellent verbal and written abilities in Hindi and English
