Roles and Responsibilities:
• With the guidance of the executive director , lead the development of long-term strategy to achieve agreed long term organizational goals • Identify new potential income streams and produce strategies to access these funds. • Prepare effective, high quality proposals using logic model for submitting to csr grants and International agencies by conducting feasibility studies of new interventions in new locations and prepare effective budgets, action plan, concept notes and proposal to the donors • Prepare annual progress and completion reports to different donors by collecting required information from the concerned implementing teams. • Conduct impact assessments and prepare reports as per the internal requirements and donor requirements. • Prepare reports for fund raising from the donor agencies, individual philanthropists and corporate sector. • Respond promptly to the donors and ensure that timely reports are provided and follow-up is done with all the donors. • Maintain a database of potential donors and work on strengthening their relationship with BalaVikasa. • Develop and maintain effective donor relationships and retention and keep our organization fiscally sound. • Develop and maintain income and expenditure tracking and evaluation systems and update to the management from time to time. • Ensure that grant programs operate efficiently and streamline grant administration. • To support in implementing and strengthen new initiatives • Attend to any another task/s assigned by the Executive Director of BalaVikasa from time to time, as per the needs of the Organization and its programs.
Candidate Profile – Qualifications, Skills and Competencies Required:
The ideal candidate should possess:
• Over 5 exp in making effective proposal writing to csr and international funding agencies. • Ability to work independently in preparing and reviewing project budgets/cost estimates • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. • Multi-task and work in an environment with changing priorities • Methodical and strategic thinking. • Experience of fundraising and donor relationships • Have proficient knowledge of fundraising methods • Proficient with MS Office • Result oriented and aligned to work towards achieving stringent timelines • To conduct training program in proposal writing and M& E to various relevant stake holders at different level.
