World Vision India is an implementing agency (Sub
Recipient) for JEET 2.0 (Joint efforts for elimination of TB)
supported by The Global Fund through William J Clinton Foundation
(WJCF) who is the Principle Recipient in Udaipur in the state of
Rajasthan. A full time Supervisor is required to monitor field
operations of LTBI site in Udaipur and he/she will be based out of
Udaipur. The Supervisor will also be required to travel to review
meetings outside the state as and when required by the PR.
Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day field operations of JEET 2.0 project and ensure program quality, provide technical
guidance and field level leadership. Lead the team of field level
staff and coordinate with stakeholders like Local TB units, District
TB office of Udaipur, Private Practitioners and other stakeholders as
per need and within WV India. She/
He will be jointly responsible along with District Lead for
monitoring and supportive supervision for all LTBI related activities
and to report on household contact screening, diagnostic evaluation,
ensuring timely initiation, completion and reporting of TB preventive
therapy as part of Operations team within district.
Key roles
·Lead the project implementation in intervention districts
·Work closely with District Lead and manage team of LTBI coordinators and Tele-counsellors
·Closely coordinate with team to develop weekly / fortnightly micro plans
·Supervise quality of patient engagement and implementation through regular field visits
·Engage district level program staff and PPSA staff to ensure seamless coordination of activities
·Support field team in debottlenecking and problem solving operational issues
·Monitor data through M&E systems and ensure timely reporting by field team
·Undertake training and handhold field staff through project on-boarding
·Liaise with private sector laboratories and government facilities to ensure seamless X-ray testing and linkages to care
·Ensure adequate stocking of LTBI drugs by
maintaining stock registers and coordinating with DTO and District
Drug Store for timely re-stocking of drugs
·Ensure adherence to M&E plan and implementation plan
·Ensure that all operational arrangements meet GF compliance standards
Key deliverables
·Formulate a monthly city level strategy along with the project director to ensure monthly targets are met
·Ensure smooth functioning of 100% Tele callers and LTBI Coordinators on field
·Ensure 100% screening of contacts of all TB patients notified in the given time period
·Ensure 80% of the screened contacts are consenting for evaluation , TPT management and adherence support
·Ensure successful treatment outcomes of 90% of the contacts initiated on TPT
·Ensure 100% of Tele callers and LTBI Coordinators are using the mobile based MIS to report on data
·Support the field level staff in planning towards achieving individual targets
·Conduct monitoring visits to validate randomly reported data from the field on key indicators
·Report any HR vacancies to WVI P&C and the health unit and ensure they are filled immediately
·Report to the Health Unit of WVI on the progress against the targets by the 30thof every month
·Submit reports and participate in national/state level reviews periodically as per project requirement
