Vision India is an implementing agency (SR) for JEET 2.0 (Joint
efforts for elimination of TB) supported by The Global Fund through
William J Clinton Foundation (WJCF) who is the PR at Udaipur district
in the state of Rajasthan. A full time District Lead (DL) is required
to provide leadership to the LTBI sites and will be based out of
Jaipur in Rajasthan. The DL will also be required to travel to review
meetings outside the state as and when required by the PR.
DL
will be point person for JEET 2.0 in the LTBI site and will lead the
implementation of JEET 2.0 project for program quality and
achievement, provide administrative and managerial support, supported by the Supervisor.The
DL will coordinate with PR, District TB offices, Private
Practitioners and other stakeholders as per need and within WV India.
She/ He will be responsible for monitoring and supportive supervision
for all LTBI related activities and to report on household contact
screening, diagnostic evaluation, ensuring timely initiation,
completion and reporting of TB preventive therapy as part of Operations
team within district in agreement with supervisor and PR.
Key roles
·Provide leadership
to JEET 2.0 project‘s implementation activities in closely working
with District TB officer, Private Practitioners and JEET project’s
principle recipient
·Interface betweenPrivate providers and Public Sector to ensure seamless implementation of project JEET 2.0
·Engage with key
stakeholders who include the State PMU, prominent private sector
hospitals/clinics treating TB and the State/District TB Officials.
·Represent WVI in any key district/City level TB meetings/Trainings
·Provide strategy to field level staff and ensure they achieve targets
·Report on field level activities and achievement on a periodic basis as and when required by WVI and the PR
·Conduct monitoring visits to validate a proportion (as decided with the PR) of the key indicators reported
·Participate in any key district/City level TB meetings
·Facilitate CME’s, Trainings and supervisory visits from the PR and WVI Health Units
·Provide logistic management of TPT drugs for household contacts
·Undertake TPT transport from designated government centres/ chemists to identified household contacts (as per requirement)
·Enter into agreements with identified vendorsfor diagnostic( X- ray ) management and disbursements
