Transystem Support for General Healthcare facility
TCI Foundation
is one of the Principal Recipients of Corporate Social Responsibility
Grant 2022-23 of Transystem Logistics International Private Limited, the
joint venture of Transport Corporation of India Limited. TCI Foundation
provides basic medical services to the mobile population through its
network of Kavach Healthcare Centres across India. TCI Foundation is
opening one such healthcare centres very soon in Gurgaon/NCR and
requires staff to operate.
Job Description:
TCI Foundation invites applications for one position of Medical Officer purely on contractual basis for its healthcare centre.
(i)Posting Location:

(ii)Responsibilities:
Curative:
Organizes the health centre, outpatient
department and will allot duties to the auxiliary staff to ensure smooth
operations of the O.P.D.
Organizes laboratory services
Make arrangement for rendering services
for the treatment of minor ailments at community level and at health
centre through the health workers and others.
Attend to cases referred to him by health workers.
Screen cases needing specialized medical attention and refer them
Provide guidance to the health workers and school teachers in the treatment of minor ailments.
Co-operate and coordinate with other institutions providing Medical care services
Visit nearby villages at least once in a fortnight on a fixed day to provide curative services.
Preventive & Promotive
Ensure that all the members of the team are fully conversant with the various National Health & Family Welfare Programs.
Supervise the work of staff in
periodically both in the clinics and in the community setting to give
them the necessary guidance and direction.
Prepare operational plans and ensure effective implementation of the same to achieve the laid down targets.
Liaison with Block Development Officer
and will keep close to staff, community leaders and various social
welfare agencies and involve them to the best advantage in the promotion
of health programs in the area.
Conduct field investigations to
delineate local health problems for planning changes in the strategy of
the effective delivery of health services
Administrative
Supervise the work of staffs
General cleanliness
Ensure to keep up to date inventory and stock register of all the stores and equipment supplied
Get indents prepared timely for drugs, instruments, vaccines etc. submit those to TCIF HQs.
Scrutinize the programs of staff and suggest changes
Hold monthly staff meetings with own staff with a view to evaluating the progress of work and suggesting steps to be taken.
(iii)Working Hours: 9000 hrs to 1730 hrs
(iv)Required Skills:
Should have strong communication skills.
Ability to work in small teams.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
Demonstrated problem solving skills and multitasking ability
Ability to maintain simple field records and have attitude to work in a field condition with travel to various sites
Should be a good community motivator and should have rapport building skills
(v)Required Education and Experience:
M.B.B.S. (registered with State Medical Council) or
MD in Community Medicine
Nature of appointment: The
appointment will be on contract basis initially for a period of one
year and thereafter extendable for specified period based on performance
appraisal to be assessed for work output, personal attributes,
functional competency etc and continuation of project by the Grantor.
(vi)Reporting: Immediate Reporting will be to Head TCI Foundation or his designee.
(vii)Age: Upper
age limit is 50 years (may be relaxed in exceptionally qualified/
experienced candidates) and ready to travel extensively.
(viii)Remuneration and Annual Increment: Would
depend on qualification, experience & performance during written
test/ interview. Annual increment would be based on performance
appraisal and as per TCIF Human Resource Policy.
(ix)Deliverables: The
Medical Officer shall be overall In-charge of clinical practices and
responsible for clinic management including but not limited to medical
policies and procedures to be implemented in the clinic, medical ethics
and clinical statutory compliances.
(x)Selection: Selection
and appointment shall be carried out through advertisement followed by
walk-in written test/ virtual or in person interview, if short listed.
