Master’s degree in Environment Science or related fields, or have good knowledge of environmental issues
Excellent knowledge of (writing and speaking) Marathi language
Minimum two years of experience working in environment sector / environment education or education system in Maharashtra
Willing to local travel frequently within the Maharashtra state
Skills and Competencies:

Good communication skills and ability to foster and maintain partnerships
Ability to implement and monitor the project timely and able to adjust work schedule and priorities
Good knowledge of MS office and have IT skills
Should have good coordination and organizational skills

Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead and responsible for implementation, monitoring and constant follow up of Climate Education and Green Campus Program in the schools and colleges of Maharashtra
Responsible for organizing and coordination for various events and trainings with partner and media organizations
Regular reporting of the project progress and success stories in the region
Maintain and build partnerships to carry forward the education and awareness campaigns in the region
Assist in maintaining database for schools, teachers, agencies and volunteers data on regular basis
Assist in preparing and managing communication material to support climate education work, mainly focused for teachers, and for other campaigns and programs
Research and assist in producing content based on latest research and trends in the field of climate solution and related environmental issues, to build climate education and green campus program
Good understanding of Social media and website management, and assist in managing the social media accounts
