EmancipAction India Foundation (EAIF) provides vulnerable girls with the skills and healing that leads to a new trajectory in their life. SAVERA is a transformational program launched by EAIF to provide holistic mental health and restorative care to girls living in Child Care Institutions. SAVERA program is delivered by Mental Health Workers who undergo a unique, experiential training with EAIF.
EAIF is looking to recruit female Mental Health Workers to implement mental health interventions for adolescents and their caregivers in Child Care Institutions across Mumbai. The project will commence from June 2020

Job Description:
• Conducting group sessions for adolescent girls and caregivers in child care institutions
• Referring adolescents to specialized services as needed
• Attend weekly individual and group supervision
• Providing periodic sessions and progress reports to supervisor and research specialist
• Gathering, filing and entering data as needed
Essential requirements:
• Completed Graduation (Bachelor’s) in any field
• Female
• Fluency in Hindi
• Ability to understand Marathi and some English
• An interest in working with adolescent girls
• Commitment to work for 2 years
• Commitment to work 10-15 hours a week
• Willing to work with flexible timings (Saturdays and Sundays as needed)
• Complete other, related activities that emerge, on an as needed basis
• Previous experience of working with woman and adolescents is a plus
Note: The interviews will be held in Mumbai in March and April 2020. Short listed candidates will attend an 8 day training in May 2020. Based on performance during training, mental health workers will be recruited for EAIF.
